When my children are napping or sleeping I take advantage and try to catch up on my favorite shows. Like everyone else, I have some guilty pleasure TV shows, like the housewives of wherever and even a medical drama. I do enjoy watching The Star Wars Franchise with my 5-year-old son. His favorite character is actually Darth Vader since he has the coolest lightsaber. Anyway, back to my top TV shows. My list includes Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Real Housewives.
I actually just started watching this show, but I am obsessed. This show is a political drama with Kerry Washington as a consultant to the president. It shows the backstabbing and deal-making between people in government. If you like the show House of Cards, then you would probably like this too. In these types of shows, everyone is spying on text messages and learning each other’s secrets. This show is more romantic than serious with the title of “Scandal”.
Another great show on the ABC network is Grey’s Anatomy. I have been watching this show for the last five years. Luckily I was able to catch up on earlier seasons with Netflix. The show stars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey are the love interests that pull the show. Their relationship is what caused the show to last from 2005 until now. When Dempsey left Grey’s Anatomy a few years ago, ratings started declining and now the show is coming to an end.
The Real Housewives
This last one is definitely my guilty pleasure TV show. I don’t watch every season of this show but I do enjoy watching the housewives from New Jersey. Something about the way they act and converse with each other is so interesting to me. Also, you know they are always gossiping about each other which makes the show so intense.
